Aidan Stretch


Founder & Managing Director, Sinova Partners

Aidan is a seasoned finance professional with over 12 years of experience in private equity and investment banking in North America and Asia. During his career, Aidan has been responsible for debt, equity and M&A transactions in excess of USD$1 billion. Aidan is a founder of Sinova Capital, a merchant bank focused in the cleantech sector. Prior to Sinova he was a Managing Director of a Shanghai based private equity firm, Cathay Fortune Corporation (CFC). While at CFC, Aidan was a Director of China Fortune Acquisition, and an advisor to China Moly, both publicly listed companies. Prior to CFC, Aidan served as an Advisor to Trenwith Securities, the corporate finance arm of BDO Seidman, as an affiliate partner of CDI Global, an international M&A search firm, and as a Founding Partner of WindyPoint Capital, a global middle market merchant bank where he was responsible for establishing the corporate finance practices in both the US and China. Prior to WindyPoint Capital, Aidan was a Managing Director of Broadmark Capital, a technology focused boutique investment bank, where he was responsible for managing the firm¹s corporate finance practice. Aidan has a BA (Hon) and Masters from the University of Liverpool, and has completed MBA studies and the Environmental Management Program at the University of Washington’s Business School.

Don Iannucci


Founder & Managing Director, Sinova Capital

Don is a seasoned finance professional and operating executive with over 18 years of experience providing management and corporate finance services to middle market companies in North America. During his career, Don has founded and operated businesses in the telecommunications, software, Internet and consumer retail sectors. Don has advised investment banking clients on debt, equity and M&A transactions. Prior to Sinova, Don was a Managing Director of WindyPoint Capital Corp., a global middle market merchant bank where he was responsible for originating and completing M&A and corporate finance transactions across an array of industries including business services, retail, telecommunications and manufacturing. Prior to his career as an entrepreneur and investment banking professional, he worked for some of the world's leading advertising and marketing communications firms, namely BBDO and Cossette. Don has served as the Chairman of the Public Relations Committee for the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon and has served on many boards of private companies in Canada.

Yen Po Wang


Managing Director, Sinova Partners

Yen is a finance professional with management expertise who has specialized in the field of private equity and investment banking in China for over 10 years. Yen started his career as a management consultant in London and provided channel strategy advisories to Fortune 500 companies in Europe, North America and Asia. During his management career, Yen also acted as a general manager to the leading steel structure manufacturer in Taiwan and sat on the board of two listcos in Taiwan and China. Yen was awarded the Top 10 Manager and Entrepreneur by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan. In 2000, Yen co-founded the predecessor of London Asia Capital PLC (UK) and was appointed the CEO of LAC’s first China joint venture, LAIB. Between 2001 and 2006, LAIB was responsible for equity, debt and M&A transactions in China in excess of GBP500million. In late 2006, Yen performed an MBO on LAIB and changed its name to TCIB which successfully raised its first private equity Rmb fund of 500million with Citic Trust (China) in 2008. The Citic-TCIB fund generated 35% IRR in 2009. Yen has a doctoral distinction from Manchester Business School (UK), an MBA from Glasgow University (UK) and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Washington State University (US). Yen also serves as a guest lecturer in Beijing University (China) and Dong Hai University (Taiwan).

Jonathan Naimon


Special Advsior, Sinova Partners

Jonathan is a senior energy and investment executive with substantial experience in many facets of energy and clean technology business and public policy. He has 25+ years experience in the field and has acquired reputation for innovation in both cleantech, business development and sustainable asset management. Jonathan is the founder of Light Green Advisors (LGA), one of the first US-based sustainable asset managers, which manages funds for institutional investors including one of California’s pension funds. LGA has advised a series of environmental trusts and was also the founding advisor to Sun Edison (MEMC), one of the top global owners and operators solar generation assets. Prior to LGA, Jonathan held management and technology positions at Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), waste-to-energy specialist Combustion Engineering, regulatoryeconomics advisor ICF International, investor research group IRRC ( MSCI), and the Energy & CommerceCommittee of the US House of Representatives. At ABB, he was responsible for helping to integrate a technology acquisitions and led successful efforts to fund both biological and supercritical water oxidation approaches to treat solid and hazardous wastes. At ICF, he managed benefit cost analyses for a wide variety of environmental rules covering ozone depletion, biotechnology, oilstorage, and metals. At IRRC (MSCI), he led a research team that pioneered corporate environmental benchmarking and the best-in-class style of environmental sustainability investing. Jonathan has been a visiting professor at the Norwegian School of Management and Carnegie Mellon University. He has a MS in Environmental Management from the University of North Carolina and a BS in Biology and Psychology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
